Sternocleidomastoid

Trigger points in the sternal(superficial) division refer to the cheek and along the supraorbital ridge. The lowest points refer down into the sternum. The highest points refer to the occipital ridge and vertex of the head. Trigger points in the costal(deep) division refer to the forehead. The most superior trigger points refer into the ear, and can cause postural dizzyness.

Trigger points in this muscle can cause postural dizzyness with referrals into the ear, as well as headaches with referrals into the forehead.
